| Your support can make it possible for children from under served communities in the greater bay area of northern California, particular those of Latino descent, have an opportunity to see a bilingual childrens' opera. Opera Cultura will be touring the bilingual children's opera in elementary schools throughout the bay area in fall of 2008. We are targeting schools where the population has little or no access to live performances, specifically in theater and opera. When the work toured in 1997, it gave me great joy to see children, particularly Latino children, make a cultural connection to this work. With your support, we'll be able to offer subsidized performances to elementary schools in the greater bay area. Won't you help? |
